Abstract

This study explores the craftsmanship-related lexicon found in the dialects and sub-dialects of Nakhchivan. The Azerbaijani language, which has undergone a long historical evolution, developed a literary language enriched by the vocabulary of old dialects. The dialects of Nakhchivan, influenced by socio-economic and ethnolinguistic factors, hold a wealth of lexical items linked to ancient craftsmanship traditions. These items reflect the region's historical and cultural heritage, enriching the Azerbaijani language's lexical stock.
